After checkin to hotel, proceed to Budhha view point which offers magnificient views of Thimphu city.Post lunch, proceed to visit Thimphu Dzong, Memorial chorten and Takin mini zoo. Bhutan is the only country in the world which does not have traffc signals. Even the busiest city square of thimphu is controlled by single traffic office and most importantly, people follow the rules. Hardly you will head any honking when in Bhutan. |Thimphu – Punakha – Thimphu||On beautiful morning, enjoy filling breakfast. Your vehicle will be ready to take you for today’s sight seeing. Toady you will visit the majestic punakha dzong which is 1.5 hours drive from Thimphu. You will go through the famous Dochu La pass. On clear day, from this pass, you can see snow clad range of Jomohari mountains. Enjoy cup of coffee at the pass and proceed. Punakah dzong is one of the largest and oldest dzong in Bhutan.The Dzong is located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu (father) and Mo Chhu (mother) rivers in the Punakha–Wangdue valley. - Kyichu Lhakhang: Kyichu Lhakhang or Kyerchu temple is an important Himalayan Buddhist temple situated in Lango Gewog of Paro District in Bhutan. It is one of the oldest and most beautiful temples built in 659 by the Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo. Kyichu is said to be one of the main 12 temples of the 108 temples that were built overnight across Tibet and borderlands.
